Recuerdos
Traditionally, a photograph is an embodiment of a specific place and time. The photographer chooses the place and creates a personal representation of what all eyes can see. But, what if a photograph is not a physical depiction, but rather a portal to somewhere else. A door that leads us to another thought, feeling, place or time. A
statement more about possibilities than facts. The eyes see a specific scene and the mind travels to another location, memory or idea filling in the empty spaces of the photograph. Do we long for more or less? Loneliness or peace? Beauty or desolation? Travel with the photos. Let them lead you to the place you need to be.
